Hi Folks,
A bit late in posting this one, life's getting a bit hectic at the moment!
It's a 1:35 rendition of an IR-equipped grenadier of the 'Muncheberg' Panzer Division. For anyone interested, there's more info on this Division here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panzer_Division_M%C3%BCncheberg
Very little is actually known about the appearance of this unit, so a little bit of artistic license here
So, on to the figure.. It's a conversion from the DML 'Nachtjager' set. Hornet head of course, along with a healthy dose of detailing with foil & putty. Scenery is scratchbuilt from a slab of plaster, the window frame is styrene strip, roughed up with a razor saw.
On to the pics.....
Painting entirely in Vallejo's. This is the first time I've tried painting Liebermuster camo. I think it turned out OK?
Over to you guys,
All the best,
Gary

That's absolutely epic. I can't begin to fathom how you get all this detail in 1/35 scale Never heard of that division before, reading the wiki article now. Really interesting.
Awesome stuff

Cool little vignette; I always wanted to do some Vampir equipped troops.

Brilliant late war scene, the Vampir stuff looks particularly good and I think you've done a good job on the camo. Excellent work.

That is a great piece of work!
At first I thought it was a 120mm or something like that.
Just don't know about the red blotch next to his eye? A wound??

I agree with what others have said,I first thought that this was 1/16 scale. Whew!! NICE!!!
I spent a few minutes just looking at the wooden box it was so nice. I am not familiar with that type of cammo so I can't make an opinion it it,sorry.
I will give you extra kudos for getting the ammo pouches to look so natural. You must have been around something real of that nature because most guys get that completely wrong,in fact all of his gear looks like it"sits"just right and makes sense.Painting-check! Well done Sir! Looks the biz,
J
