Hello everybody.
It's my first time at this famous site. I am Brazilian and I live in the city of Curitiba, in south of Brazil. In other modeling sites I'm known as Carius.
The model: Tiger I middle version, sPzAbt. 502, CO Lt. Otto Carius, Malinava, Russia, 1944 (with impacts after the battle of Malinava). Tamiya kit with additional super-detailing, engine and zimmerit from Verlinden Productions, Eduard etched set, aluminum gun barrel from Jordi Rubio, metal cables, Model Kasten tracks, finished in Humbrol paints.

I'm not sure if all that impact would leave the zim so well intact with only round holes. I thought it came off in chunks. The model techniques look very good though. It looks great.

Hi Cesar
Welcome to the greatest model site in the world
That Tiger has had more than it's fair share of hits!!!,I love the impact marks!!!
The only thing I would say is about the tracks, for a tank that's still in service they would have a more shiny appearance, next time you pass a construction site look at the tracks of the diggers etc,not much rust on them.

bom dia!
I like your tiger a lot, especially the realistic battle damage. how did you do it?
by the way: 2 years ago I was staying in curitiba for around two months. I noticed that modelling stuff in brazil is veeeery expensive!

Hi (olá), I have done the holes with a small screwdriver.
If you came back to Curitiba, let me know. Will be a pleasure meet you personally.
Here, these itens are expensive because of the high import tax.
Sorry, but I don't speak english very well
Bye (até logo)

oi!
maybe I will really return to brazil at the end of the year
are you member of a modelling club as well? I've heard that there is one in são paulo.
yes, it's true - the import taxes make all things crazily expensive in brazil. sometimes I wonder how people can live with the little money they often earn.
don't worry - seu inglês é muito bom!
happy modelling,
leander

Hi leander,
Yes, I am a member of a modeling site here in Brazil: webkits.com.br. There I am known by the name CARIUS.
There are many sites about modeling here...but less interesting than other countries.
Bye!
