The kits 50 cal. is a mess, I changed it with a tamiya one;

after base coat is painted with AK 122, I added several washes, oil stains and dust.

and for the size comperision with a hilux;

I really enjoyed building it. I made some mistakes like not stabilizing the interior dust, which got stuck on the windows inside, and the rear hatch fitting.

Hope you enjoy.

Very nice build. The finish is pretty realistic with a spot on dusty look.

Very good model.

Is it an early type of Duke antenna on this vehicle ?

The diameter seems bigger than Duke antennas mounted on stryker, abrams, humvees and other vehicles.

the kit is like ,revell germany armor kits, the details are a little soft, some parts require a lot of sanding, and the wheels are a little small for the tires, so there are gaps.

I really enjoyed building her and considering to buy the m-atv from the same company.

Thanx for the comments.

Wait for the re-tooled version of Kinetic's MATV; the original is supposedly out of scale (1:32?). I sure would like to see the Panda and Kinetic MATV's side by side to see how much the difference is. Nice job on the RG-31.

Hi

I see you finished the Kinetic RG31 so maybe you can help. I'm stuck on the RG31 - I have 2 part C16s left over (long struts) and cannot figure out where they are in the instructions. Did you have the same problem?

cheers

Steve
