The oval reflectors provided were only fitted to GPWs after late1943. Fords prior to this date and ALL MBs had round reflectors.

Simon the reflectors are round or are you refering to the single half round on the rear?

I'm referring to the base of the reflector that bolts to the body -not the red bit that reflects the light. Also check your references for the standardised lighting system which was fitted to everything from a Harley to a Sherman as the rear left and right light units are not the same
