can anyone tell me the correct vallejo paint numbers for the 3 paints that make up the tri colour German AFV colours towards the end of the war , its a tan/brown a green and then a kind of red/purple. I have seen quite a few models with this scheme and yet the red/purple colour seems to be different every time.
Also how do you do panzer black uniforms if the base colour is black, what colour do you use for highlights and how are you able to add shadows ? thanks

Vallejo offers several different colors for the tri-color camo. Red-brown and dark green are offered in pale, medium, and dark shades as these colors varied on the actual tanks. These colors came as pastes and were thinned in the field by mixing with various solvents (gas, water, diesel, etc.) I believe that the dark yellow only comes in one shade but I can't remember for sure.
As for the highlights on black uniforms, I'd use a very dark gray, one that is almost black but not quite.

For black uniforms, there is a Model Color Panzer Aces German Tanker Black, that is a very dark gray, you can use black mixed with this color for shading.
As for vehicles, I beleive the closest Model Color would be Middle Stone for the base color. In the Model Color Panzer Aces, there are a couple shade of the olive green and red brown.
