New here, great site!
Looking for some modern US Tankers with the new MOLLE vests for a USMC diorama.
Any sites or info would be great!
Right now I plan to use Dragon Modern US Marines with US Tank crew legs and heads, but would love another alternative.
Any help would be great!

I don't see a ned for MOLLE gear on a Tanker. BP vest's sure.. but not MOLLE gear. I may be Wrong though.

Thanks for the info guys, but current USMC tankers are using the same vests as line units, some may still use the old, police style vest or older kevlar. The DML kit is detailed, but would like to see some ideas or kits produced this way.

Melon:
First off welcome to the site.
What you can do too (I'll do this for my AAV7) is use the torsos out of the DML Modern US Marines (the new kit) along with the heads out of the DML US Tank crew, if that's the look you;re going for.

The pics that Maki posted show the crew wearing our current spall vests. Not good for much more than that and minor shrapnel. Maybe a 9mm round from a distance. However, we are all issued either the heavier FLAK vest or the newer Interceptor vests with the SAPI plates front and rear. Some folks are only equipped with the front plate though. The larger vests and molle gear arent usually arent worn inside the vehicle as it makes it rather hard to exit in a hurry if needed. HTH "Q"

The new Tamiya OIF releases have the Inceptor body armor on their figures.
The new Warriors stuff have the "chickplate" body armor that the Army uses and I'm sure the USMC uses also.
