Just ordered the trumpeter BTR-60PU and I'm liking the
idea of building it with the mast in the operating position.
One question, what antennas did they mount on the 10m mast?
Googled it and came up with nothing really of use? Having worked for 12 years as a British Army Signaller I know what what we used during the cold war but I've never seen ( or paid any attention to the Soviet stuff !) So any images of a BTR-60PU with the mast and antennas deployed would be great.
Thanks in advance
Dan

Dan this should help alot, it's just a simple antenna mast very simular to a german crowsfoot antenna from wwii or our current OE-254 antenna. Here's some pictures.

Chris,
You are a star just what I was looking for, found a couple on the net but they didn't show the complete antenna. Once the 2S1 is finished I think I'll make a start on the BTR-60PU
Cheers

The kit turned up today. Very quick delivery, same quality plastic as the other BTR releases with a new sprue for the PU version, really nice kit indeed.
