I cannot for the life of me find any figures that dont cost the odds consisting of dead and injured as my current diorama needs to show the injured and dying for the setting of the scene however im thinking i might have to do some chopping

Will there be any medical personal? How to represent them will depend on this.

it is going to be a small ruined building with a now silenced machine gun post with the only survivor a german officer who has been tied up and captured by the soviet recon forces who are now interrogating him of the other german positions as they try to slow the russian advance so they can radio back to the main force
Im wanting the dead bodies to be slumped near the mg42 position and possibly some others looking like they where caught off guard by the quick strike by the russians

You're going to have to further specify if you want early war Germans, or late war, or winter or summer. Dragon has wounded late war in the Georgian Volunteers set and another one in the Aachen set, both probably hard to find. Masterbox has a couple of German casualties with their North Africa (British) Vickers MG team. These are Afrika Korps figs and will need a bit of conversion. Verlinden make some dead/wounded in resin as do TAHK (TANK) Models, but, of course, are more expensive.

Okay you would still have some conversion to do but there two dead germans in the Masterbox Vickers Machine Gun set that I reviewed here
You wouldn't need to change the face down figure at all and you could either swop out the boots or build up the trousers with putty on the other figure.
For the captured officer there is a good figure in the Zvezda Soviet Recon Team he doesn't look as good as his pic but he's not bad
