What's he going to air??
The Shilka more air can flow into the compressed air to operate the armor, this tower is the ammunition compartments.
We also have a pressurized system, this combat vehicle protection for NBC (Nuclear, Biological and Chemical).
As the filters are located at the top of the tower, the tower outlet openings, behind the bottom (not shown).
The vehicle is V6R tank engine cooling over the engine compartment, exhaust port at the back, middle, and gas turbines (which produce generator of electricity) intake manifold on the right side of the vehicle, tip the vehicle back side, also on the right (under the open roof ) is located.
Recommended book: Shilka and friends, and the CONCORD publication of this vehicle.

Matt,
Do you mean the hot air exhaust ? Someone who had been out to see the Littlefield collections' Shilka told me that the cooling system exhaust is routed along the left side if the hull through the open space behind the headlights.

The 4V1 doesn't have an open space, behind the headlight. There is a grate along the top left, of the rear hull. There is a grate, on the engine deck and one just below the detrenching log.

this is littlefields' vehicle. It's a 4M but the same feature appears on the V1 as well unless I'm mistaken.
