Hello guys !
I know that many of my fellow modelists from around the world wonder what Normandy looks like, when they want to create a dio.
So I just scanned a few pics from my latest holidays over there !
The old town is Rouen.
The cliffs are at Etretat.
The "abbayie" is called Jumieges and is right next to the river Seine.
The medieval castle is right next to Rouen.
The cows are the typical cows from Normandy who's milk gives the well known Camembert cheese.
There is my yahoo album :
http://fr.photos.yahoo.com/penpen_franceI hope it helps give you some reference !

Zach, are you a member of the Yahoo photo community? I am, and I had no problem accessing the album.
PenPen, if the French Yahoo image site is the same as the US version, try this: Ther should be an orange bar near the top of the page with the name of the album. In the bar over to the right there will be a thing that says 'This album is shared with XXXXX' and right next to that 'Edit Settings'. Click to edit the settings and be sure you select, under the 'share you album' settings, 'share this album with everyone' .
Hope that helps some. I think your album is set to let 'friends' in, as your image page recognized my Yahoo ID (JoeTheJedi84)
Let me know if that helps!!!

Thanks yoda !
it was already set to "share with everyone".
It only took a bit of time before it decided to start working... #:-)
So, this should give you an idea of what these old normand houses look like !

Well, I've got a few more, but it's more in the "my girlfriend and I in front of the cliffs" style...
But I posted a photo with a small blured guy posing in the streat, smiling at the camera : it's me !

Nice set of photos. Jim will be posting a set I took while in Holland and Belgium this year and trust they will be as good as yours.
Thanks again

Sorry, that's all the good stuff I've got for Normandy for now.
I may have a bit more later...
But very soon i'm gonna have plenty of pics of old houses, shops and buildings from the Paris area.
