Hi Roman,

Its nice, I like the weathering -- it has a used, grimy look, but not over the top.

I think the wipers should be in the other direction (?) -- you may want to check. I had the same issue as I am building the same kit for the ongoing Car Dealership Campaign (you could have put this in as an entry).

Well the more challenging issue for me was the suspension part, and yes that torpedo hood ornament

Thanks for sharing, as it also reminds me that I need to get moving on that campaign build.

Cheers,

Tat

Hi Tat, thanks for checking my build.

The wipers could be both ways, here are just some images of Opel Olympia with the wipers as on my model.

Had to look this one up. I knew that the Opel was German. But, sure enough, a photo of one with US markings. I like the originality. The paint, on the wheels is very clean. Subtle weathering. You may want to dirty up the seats a little more. Something else that would add to it is a German mp40 or pistol. Perhaps a German helmet, left by its previous crew.

Thanks, Matt. There are MP40 and Walter pistol inside + other things. I will take more images of it without roof.

Thanks Roman. The pics are new to me except the 3rd and last one -- I guess it never registered as the rest I've seen were towards the other side. At first I have installed it same as yours but had to redo it when I checked my reference pics and the kit instructions itself. Good thing it came off and got re-installed with not much difficulty.

Cheers,

Tat

Base finished, but not weathered yet. I used J'works pavement stones - around 130 hexagonal + larger ones.

Now I am thinking about positioning the guy and the vehicle. Which variant is best?

I added leaves, grass, wet areas and things like that to the base. THe project if finished now and I will post some images later this week.

Absolutely superb, thanks for the inspiration!

And this Opel kit doesn't seem overly complicated, for a Bronco model that is...

About the livery, Bronco's latest Topolino also has an allied marking option, with huge stars.

Cheers,

Christophe

Thanks, Christophe.

Bronco's early kits are very simple. I built their Fi103 before and it was one evening job But of course now their offerings have much more detail. Looking forward to that Topolino!

I finished the scene and have some images in my blog.
