Hello,
Real fast question...... Would a 1/32 scale aircraft match 1/35 armor? Like making a dio on a 1/32 aircraft with a 1/35 Armor... And match
?? Any comment welcomed

is like 1:76 to 1/72 o.s.

And the answer in my opinion is...the closer the different scales are bunched together, the bigger the problems.
Put a fair distance between them and it might work.

Question: why not move over to 1/48??? IMHO definitely an option in the meantime!

Cheers

I say no issues. I have mixed 1/32 aircraft and civilian vehicles with 1/35 figures and armored vehicles on many occasions. The difference is not great enough to see as long as they are not two like items (two jeeps for example)one in 1/32 and one in 1/35).

You can also mix 1/32 and 1/35 figures, since people come in all sizes as well.

The key to mixing the figures and different scaled vehicles is to keep constantly-sized common items in one scale. For example, keep all weapons in 1/35, or all helmets, all canteens, all grenades, etc.

Some examples:

I agree.

It only stops working when you mix vehicles in different scales.

I agree with you gino to keep all common items such as weapons and personal gear in 1 35 scale that way the you wont notice the different scales in the figures or the difference in the 1 35 scale vehicles and 1 32 scale aircraft you could also get away with mixing 1 32 civilian vehicles with 1 35 scale military veclces

There's no problem at all, which is why I don't mind my Kinetic M-ATV.
The difference in the two scales is what - around ten percent? I saw a very nice dio in the 90's that used forced perspective that got away with a much bigger difference. It used 1:72, 1:76, and 1:87 vehicles. Since you could only view it from the front, the smaller scale vehicles in the rear did not look out of place at all. Plus, you can get a better sense of distance with this technique. To get a better idea of the difference, using 1:72 and 1:87 together is like putting 1:35 kits together with 1:43 die casts. I plan to take it a step futher by using the 1:35 Legend sniper set (very nice set by the way) on in a hide site in the foreground, shooting at a 1:72 target on another hilltop. Done correctly, it should look the the other hilltop is a lot further away.
