Hi there,
can anyone explain the use of the white "H" painted on the
top of the Centurions turret, and was it always white or was black also used?
Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,
From vanguard 22, the CENTURION TANK in Battle :
On the forward slope of the turret roof is painted a large
white "H" - an air recognition sign; emblazoned on all French and British vehicles, the "H" stands for "Hamilcar"
the original name given to Operation Musketeer.

I would assume the decals are marked in 'black' ink on the instructions because it's a black and white line drawing. The key table on the right is for the tank colors, not the marking colors.
I could be wrong.
