Thanks for your kind comments on my collection!. I'll try to respond to all comments here :
blaster76, I started collecting warplanes when I was a teenager, then expanded to warships and armors and figures. During the first 20 years, I used to model myself. But later on, some 7-8 years ago I started using modeling services from some skilled modelers and I've changed some of them through the years. At the moment I'm using services of 3 modelers:
1. Khun Prayukkiat who has modeled for me longer than anybody, but I haven't seen him over 1.5 years now (previous assignment took him almost 2 years) because he's been kind of busy.
2. 'Art Instructor' who's been modeling for me for some 4-5 years. He's specialized in armor & diorama modeling and he's the most productive one.
3. Khun Niphon who's started modeling for me this year, specialized in warplane and warship modeling.
The models that I did myself are usually at the back rows, and I don't take close-up shots of them. I think you know the reason why. ;-)
sgtreef, I agree with you that the figures look a little too dark. Maybe they've been in the war for too long. ;-)
kglack43, your explanation is correct. I don't have to tell Art Instructor what color to do, say, the Karl or the Leopold. He knows better than me about color and painting, and that's the reason why I chose him to do my models at the first place. And you're right when you said earlier that I always share credit with my modelers. You see, when I'm with 'Art Instructor' I would call 'my site' and 'MM Forum' as 'our site' and 'our forum' to give him the feeling of co-ownership of the site. Because without him my site
would not have come this far. Also earlier this year when the "Record Challenge" program of TV9 came to my house for video-recording, I made sure that 'Art Instructor' was there to be interviewed too. Both of us appeared in the TV show. I also asked for two copies of the tape (VTR), one of which is for Art Instructor to show to his relatives who missed the show.
