hmmm after a generic base that I can use to pose finished kits for photography. Looked at the review of the Mini Art country road BUT think for smaller vehicles (my Pz1A for example) they would be lost on such a big base... Have looked at SB Models "Street Corner" but that has the opposite effect - perhaps too small for larger vehicles (not that I have anything larger than a StuG III or PzIV at the moment.
any suggestions I could look at (making my own is not an option just yet)...
after something for 1/35 WWII that can be used for France, Germany, Russia (as I said generic)... preferably rural but all suggestions considered
thanks all

Monroe Perdu do a base called 'The Sunken Road':

Its not too big and it might suit the size of vehicle you have a bit better.

Robert, take a look at these. They are different sizes for you.

very nice - like the large sunken road - the rest I would need the dimensions the other way (I think). Also as I am in the UK I am guesisng I would be loking at a large postage bill... but will keep you in mind

If the base is just for photos why not go with the large mini art base and just crop the photos?

The MiniArt bases can be cut to whatever size needed. They are just soft plastic. The cut off parts can used later in smaller bases for figures or pieced together with rubble on a bigger base. Nothing lost.

thats what I was looking at - like the country road as it is very generic... but now wondering for my first attempt if I should have a setting - ie leave the model on the base rather than "plonk" it on for photos....
tempted to go for german figures waking up (guy shaving, one cooking, 2 drinking) and 1 guy taking their photo as they get ready... that could be on the country road if they had stopped their for the night for example......
the figures I am thinking of are

not 100% sure how accurate for Flak crew they would be tho (think they are generic enough)
