Hello everyone! I am making a 35th Panther D tank. I am trying to replace the glacis driver view port & MG hatch with a self-made workable set, and the problem is I can't find the structure or working mechanism for these two.


I knew how they looks when opened/closed but missing the procedure of opening and closing. I found some interior pics of driver view port but failed to understand the structure (God bless Germans for their complex machines).

Even the mighty Google failed me. So if anyone can provide any reference (video, diagram, etc) on explaining how these hatchs open/close, it will be much appreciated.
