I just got a new Atomic Cannon kit, something I built about fifty some years ago as a kid with my brother along with a 20 Mule team model.

I doubt that there is any PE or AE barrels for this kit, so are there any reference book to look for or "walk arounds"?

The accuracy of the kit is not very good by today's standards, but I wanted to correct some of the easy items and show one side with the platforms down and the other up for transport.

Hi Jim

Maybe you could take a look at Wim Wink's build for inspiration ?

Talking about reference stuff, these Hi-Res pics should keep you busy for a while

There are two walkarounds that I'm aware of, both are posted on primeportal.net

and

It'll be intereesting to see what you do with this. Like you, I built this Renwal Kit back when I was around 12 - some 40 years ago. I thought it was awesome then

The Wim Vink build is indeed impressive. In fact I have a very old magazine that devotes an article to it I've saved all of these years. His build is an odd mix of superdetailing some things, while totally ignoring other components. I attribute this to the scant details we had on a lot of subjects back then.
I've done walkarounds of three of these guns, so when I started mine I had a big advantage. If you do a search here you'll find the start of my build. I have a tendency to start with the small details first, and I didn't post much, but I hope the photos I did post are helpful.
