Hi all,
This is my first post here after lurking for some time. I have a question for my fellow Aussies or anyone else living in Australia: what alternatives are available in Australia for Future/Pledge? What do you use?
Cheers and thanks for your help.

Hi Jason,
What do you need an alternative for - can't you buy Pledge anymore? I am still working off a bottle I bought a few years ago, so I don't know.

Ring Aeroworks in Adelaide south Australia, speak with Craig the owner who is an all round great guy and dedicated aircraft modeler. I know he has a box of bottles that belong in the cleaning isle of the supermarket. Yellow bottles I think can't remember. I don't use the stuff myself but Craig in sure will gladly offer advice. He usually tours the competition scene around Australia so woul pass by wherever you are at least once a year. The model plane guys are incapable of finishing a comp standard kit without the stuff.
If he helps please post the product here.

I read somewhere that Pascoe's Long life floor polish can be used but I have never tried it myself, It's in a yellow bottle with blue cap. Can anyone confirm this...?

Adam
Yeah, lurking would be about right . . . try Arms Model IT - they have a suitable substitute. I have some but have never tried it as I brought a bottle of Future back from the UK in 2006.
Regards

Thanks for the replies guys. I might give the Pascoe's Long Life a go (cheers Max). It is available from Woolies, but I have just read elsewhere that it may not be so friendly towards acrylic paint. Has anyone had any experience of this? Failing this, I might try Arms Model IT (thanks for the tip Rob)
