It looks like the 1/35 scale big railway gun from Dragon Models will be making a comeback to a retailer near you soon.

I did Trumpeters version I think about 5 years ago, cool build and the wooden slats are complete which they were not
on the Dragon kit. But I fell into the trap of painting this damned beast dark yellow with red brown stripes and adding the "leopold" decals, which is totaly inaccurate, because the Leo was in Normandy in german grey and not as
shown in Aberdeen Proving ground in the said colours.
So maybe IŽll do it again, this time in grey.

I think that you would be better off spending your hard earned money on the Trumpeter vershion.
The Trumpeter vershion is much more detailed and the fit is pretty good. I built both of them a couple of years agoe.
I gave the Dragon one to my little nephew to play with.
If anyone is interested , Archer Transfers had a real nice markings set out.

I had both kits when they came out and I choose the Dragon first. It built into a nice kit with out any issues. I sold the Trumpeter kit a couple of years ago I will say that Trumpeter was more detailed in the trucks. The Dragon is still in my model cabinet and it looks fine.

Availability will also no doubt be an issue. DragonUSA is showing a pre-order price on this kit of $150 as a reference point.

I doubt they will sell many. Im surprised they even bothered to reissue this kit. There are many other kits they no longer make that would receive a better welcome.
