Hello modelers
I do make models starting at the 80s.
Usually I spend some months to complete a kit, as I was a detailing maniac - as the most of you too

I am graphic artist, but due to some "difficult circumstances" I had to find an other one way to contribute to the family income.
So that I did was just to do my hobby, but in an other way and …more productively.

Over a year ago, more than 500 bases I have made are sold on ebay.
It is amazing that with my old pace of work, I should have more than 10 lives to complete so many bases!

Hope soon I will find some time to complete my own e-shop, but until then I continue to sell on ebay.

I post here some of them and you can download a draft catalogue from here (PDF file, 50mb ziped).

PS: My apologies for my bad English.

Enjoy them!

Hello Tom.

Yes, I have to explain some things.

First of all, all the resin or ceramic parts on these bases are from my own molds, so I reproduce them frequently and use them as parts for my synthesis.
Also I make some kind of ceramic barriers as diorama accessories - are selling separately also as sets.

I use MDF wood as base to built my dioramas.
Here are the available dimensions I usually work:

15x15cm
15x25cm
16x23cm
20x20cm
20x30cm
25x25cm
23x32cm

Also circular, with diameter: 7, 10, 12 & 15cm.

Many of my bases have the same theme (ie "Middle East street w/sidewalk & barriers") with small variations, as all are handmade, so there will be some differences.

If you need anything more, just ask here.
My complete info is at my ebay pages.
For non ebay buyers, just send me a pm or use directly my email.

Thanks for your interesting at my work.

Dimitris

I didn't know this forum is accurate for some personnal advertising.
I also sell some minis on ebay, could I post these here?:-?

By the way, I enjoy these bases, they look really great!

Thanks for the comment.
I also don't know if it is ok or not
If not, I am waiting the admins to delete this post or advice me what to do.

BTW, I have send the admins the draft catalogue, asking to write something at the news (regarding my new activity/company) but no specific reply yet.

Soon I will send one base for review, as it will be welcome - they said.
Thanks anyway.

Hello Antal,

At the moment I use Polyester Resin (PE-6/TC), a material I can found here in Greece. It is almost transparent with a green/blue finish. I do some mixes with very diluted enamels for a dirtier and more brown look.
In larger areas the resin is used in layers waiting them to dry to go to the next.

Here a closer look at a new base.
Some gloss varnish is also useful.

Hello Ian,

I added my link to my sign.
The site is not ready yet (need some time and work on this), but I have active listings on ebay - follow the links there.
I also make commissioned work. Just send me a reference photo (real one or similar to your needs) and we will find the way to your dio

Asap my site will be online, I will send a newsletter to publish here at the news section.

Thanks all.

That looks like just enough work for me to put in to a base. None! Let the professional do it! Splendid work! If the 2030-054 base was a little bigger, I'd buy it.

Hi,
Some asking for the ebay link. It seems was not working properly the links at my dioramania page, so I made some changes and now it has to work.
Anyway, my eBay ID is also "dimkaras", so you may do a search there.

The green cutting board as background at my photos is my trademark

Have fun!

PS: the most interesting - but high priced bases - are gone, but always I made the same themes regularly, so be back again. I also keep the prices stable - I am trying on this
