Hi all,
how does this work? I thought it was designed to send automated alerts when somebody added a post to a thread but from my experience it is not the case. Or did I something wrong?
TIA
Olivier

Olivier,
you may want to check your spam mail folder. That's where mine always go.
Cheers!

Is it the same as the subscribe button?

I thought "Follow" was to do with facebook and "Subscribe" to get an Email notification.

Lol...sorry my fault.
The new FOLLOW button is still a work in progress. The component that is obviously missing is to notify you when there is an update to that post, etc. It will be in both instant (ala Facebook notification area) and available via email (but probably only some type of daily email update. I want to get away from doing the emails for every update scheme.
There is a feature for FOLLOW that is working though. If you are following a topic you can go into the Latest Posts page and use the follow filter to find all of them.
Thanks,
Jim
