Not really decided yet, stock build as it my first, maybe a single figure leaning against it but don't like styrene figures much, so really concentrating on a good build and paint job.

I would recommend getting your feet under you, before you try a vignette or diorama. Baby steps.

Hi Eugene

well this is a little update, had some time to do some more work and my airbrush kit has arrived

so primed and then filled some holes, bit of a learning curve what with the airbrush also, but have been meaning to get on for a few years for my figure work.

next
need to touch up the primer and attempt some color modulation
then lay some base coats of olive drab

Nice start Danny. Very clean build.

Wise. This is the best way to start armor ... nice easy kit, build it OOB and concentrate on the paint and weathering. The finish is what its all about, not how much aftermarket you can add. That can come later, but its more important to get the basics level up to standard first.

this is the figure from the box, never liked styrene figures coming from a 288-30mm fantasy / wargaming background, but this turned out ok I think

Great job on the figure Danny. These Tamiya and Italeri extra figures must be the hardest there is to paint, basically cause they are crap. Theres no details to paint. I can see from what you done on both the figure and Sherman, your background in minis has taken you along way. Great job so far.

Nice job on your first AFV Danny. If you don't mind a suggestion for the future, think about adding mounting points for the spare turret equipment and spare track sections, so they don't look like they're just glued on.

Looks great. I agree with Bob, about the attachment points. Something else, you may want to consider, is the rope holding the stowage on. It is directly over a bag. However, it makes no impression, like something tight across cloth.

thanks for the feedback, yes i agree with the rope thing, i have some other stuff i may change it, can you show me an example of points for the tracks?

tbh i just wanted a solid first build, not going for to much authenticity.

Pretty new to the forum myself (but not new to modeling,) and I will add that if that is your first armor kit, it looks really good.
The finish is especially nice... not overdone.
Can't wait to see more of your stuff
