Im by no means an expert being I've only done 2 dios. For a first attempt give youself an A very nice job. All I can say is the cobblestone looks a bit glossy.

Very nice for a first diorama - very nice job.
What I like about it
- detail every where - furniture, flag, curtains, window frames, windows,
- nice construction of the building - good floors, nice bricks, nice color for the top 1/2
- nice brick road, well done.
- Great frame on the base, really nice touch
Here are a few things you can look at next time around.
- the windows, usually the large + frame work holds four small windows in place and the glass is set in a groove in the middle. On your diorama it looks as if the window is glue to the outside of the wood. One easy fix (only if you want to) would be to put another thin + on the outside to sandwich the glass. Next time you could cut four small pieces and place each 'in' the small area.
- the window on the 2nd floor would be knocked out by the kneeling guy if it weren't already shot out. That would add a nice touch of urgency to the scene.
- the edge of the building could be touched up a smidge - use one 'off' color like black or dark blue to set it off from the rest.
Just some things to look at for next time - this one is really nice and for a 1st time its wonderful.

thanks for the feedback everyone. i agree slodder, the windows would look a lot better done the way you suggested.the cobblestones do look a bit glossy, i think i might wanna put on another flat clear coat. the scene i was trying to convey was a small group of germans barely holding out in one of the last standing buildings in berlin, and just as they thought they were done in, up rolls a tiger II to their rescue. the tiger gives them enough cover for them to run out and check on their fallen comrad. i think that a busted out window would definitely add a nice touch, and i was also thinking of putting some bullet holes in the side of the building for a little more sense of a battle. again, thanks for the feedback.

Howdy buddy , id like to say that for a first dio you have a pretty good job out there. Its a nice scene and especially the building work is fair enough. besides all that has already been spoken i d like to add this. i believe that the road - except the glossy look that will be fixed easily- its pretty clean and neat to my sense of looking a war scene. i mean there is a tank there some soldiers fighting, probably a lot of others have passed and fight this point and the road is very clean, not a paper a broken wood, a leaf , some junk , nothing maybe you would also like to add a lil of this.
Congrats on your first work

Congrats Meissen for a very good first diorama.building, sidewalk and cobblestone looks great as the painting of the tank and the soldiers are also very good. But I will say a few believing you will do superb dioaramas soon.
1.The proportion of the 1st floor and 2nd floor could be better.
2.German flag would be better hanged in a window not the inside wall of the house.
3.the street is very clean.
take care and be safe

very nice! :-) congrats,
very nice the hight level of details everywhere
I think you can improve something like:
The proportion of the 1st floor and 2nd floor could be better.
you can add object, ruins ...
cheers

Meissen,
welcome aboard !
That's a nice first dio !
Maybe you want to add some more rubble in the house and on the street...the scene is a bit too clean to be true...remember that everything on the house that was battledamaged has got to be out there somewhere inside and out.

yeah, the two floors are pretty disproportional. i think i had a little mistake when i measured it out. no doubt ill do a better job with the measurements and junk next time, cuz things didnt want to go together well this time around. it took a long time trying to fit everything together and make it look halfway decent. along with the street having more rubble, i noticed that there is a pretty blank spot down the street from the tank. anyone have any ideas to what i can put there? thanks

For a first dio .. this is awesome. Great work on the cobblestones and building. Very impressive and nice colouring! The Tiger looks very menacing in the first picture and adds a lot to the scene. I particularly like the wallpaper.
Some helpful tips have already been suggested so I wont go there, but I do believe something is needed to fill out the space at the front. It needs to be low so as not to hide anything else in the scene. Maybe more rubble and another dead soldier?
