I'm trying to find info / images of the MK36 MTVR wrecker. The truck I hope to build was called Medusa and has an exciting history during its time in service.
IM just trying to find shots of jib and mainly images of equipment boxes.
Thanks for any help
Jeff

Thanks Frenchy ! I'd hope you would chime in.
Medusa had 3 encounters w IED and returned to service after being repaired. The story gave me the inspiration for this build
The last pic I've seen has a new bonnet...and crane assembly w the sand cab and recovery bed

I've just realized that the side view drawing in my first post is reversed...

Frenchy- that was the site I was reading about the truck, and then lost the link! I just realized part of the reason I was missing it , was "Medusa" has the additional armored cab..and I wasn't using the " A" prefix during my brief search.
Thanks again !

Here's another view of a Mk36 fitted with an armored cab, but there are some minor differences between this one and the "Medusa" one (the latter appears to have extra armor plates bolted on + different ballistic glass window) :

LOL- I figure you were planning a wrecker, I couldn't build "just " the cargo truck! Should be a fun build
Maybe we should start a build log? course I'm still using the mk.1 eyeball..
Thanks for the congrats, I was really surprised!

Does anyone have access to a photo from the right side of the service winch mounted to the front bumper ? I am trying to understand the mounting of the "passenger " side of the winch.
