I'm planning on building a mtlb and need to know if anyone produces a PKT machine gun, in 1:35. I've seen barrels and magazines, but not the entire gun.

Have you tried Tank Model? They have a large range of Russian weapons.

Judging by pictures, it wouldn't be hard to modify a PKM to make it look like a PKT, the barrel being on the only difficult part to get right.

Tank Model has a PKM set ref A207 and a PKT barrels set ref A206.
I guess that if you remove the wooden stock and add the barrel it should do the trick.

Thank you, Olivier. I think that is the route I will go.

The barrel will be obscured. I like the look of the Dragon offering, more than that of Tahk Model. I think I will use a syringe, for the barrel and modify the area behind the breach.

Dragon's Ak-47/74 family part-2 set also has PKM in it - seems to be the exact same thing as in the modern MG set.

Except that the AK family has been going for $20+ on Evilbay, while the modern MG set still gets stocked.

I can vouch for the DML PKM by the way- the one in the modern MG set is a lot better than the one that came with the DML 'Spetznaz' troops.
