Randy Harvey uncovers another gem from the trash dump in the form of this Dodge Weapons Carrier. A handful of pictures of a beautiful wreck, with nice lighting...

That is a very restorable wreck!

I suggest you work a deal to broker the sale of this vehicle on the web or on eBay. There is money to be made there and this vehicle could be restored and cherried out again in 2-6 years once again holding its head up proudly!

An original 1/2 ton Dodge 4x4 Weapons Carrier, a "Power Wagon" from the early 1940's - beautiful in its' own way!

And a restored vehicle - I took this "builder's photo" at the 2009 MVPA show in Evansville, IN.

And the same vehicle on Parade:

Great Pics Randy, would love to build it just as it looks in the pic. That would be fun! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for posting these photos Matthew.

I took these pictures several years ago, the early 90s. I had a regular film camera with me back then and I had limited film. So very few photos were taken. I am not sure what that thing is sitting in the back of it. Some kind of homemade what-not.

I stopped and looked for it last year but it was long gone. I was hoping that it was still setting there as I had hoped to maybe purchase it. Thank you for sharing the photos Michael. They offer up a nice comparison of what it should look like.

Thank you and you're welcome Gary. I never thought of that but it would make a cool "forgotten warrior" type of diorama. I always feel sad for these old vehicles when I find them rusting away like that. I have another photo feature of an M15 halftrack as well. I don't know if you seen it or not.

Thanks again everyone.
Randy
