I have a standard Brass barrel, can I use this on a MK1V LIC, or is the .5 on the Merkava a heavy barrel?.

Kenny according to you, what is a standard barrel as opposed to a heavy barrel? To me the M2 is always fitted with the latter hence the denomination M2HB.
Aren't you mistaken with the more recent quick change barrel (QCB) with a "solid" handle (as opposed to the old style wire handle) which doesn't need the head space checking after each barrel change?

Hi Olivier, I have a M2 barrel AM part, I don't know where I bought it from. Hoping to use it as the detail in Academy kit is not very good, but the kit barrel is a larger dia.

The biggest gun I ever fired was a 'Bren Gun, don't know anything about M2's

If you havea a barrel that look like this:



then it is for a ground mount M2HB and you can use it on your Merkava.

If it looks like this:


Then it is the M2 aircraft version and not good for your Merkava.
