Well not been on this site for quite a while
Anyway I miss painting AFVs for some time now maybe 4 or so years.
I have ordered some small scale tigers 1/100 just to pass the time away and try and get the bug back.
Not having an airbrush anymore I will try and paint the camouflage with a paint brush using Vallejo model color,But unsure how to make the camo look more sprayed on than painted on using a brush.Base coat is not a problem.
Any advice?
Cheers
Karl

At 1/100 scale, a brush is the better tool anyway. You can't make out 'faded edges' in 100th scale.
Just use multiple thin coats and you'll be fine.

Use very thin layers and build it up. With more layers in the middle it may give a soft-edge or sprayed on effect. Its either that or masking!

Thanks Jesse/Frank
I shall go with thin coats and water down the paint.
Cheers
