The Tamiya M26 comes with 2 wooden K ration boxes. Does anyone know if these were still used in Korean war or had we switched exclusively to cardboard C ration cases by then? K ration boxes look good with 3 decals for each. I'm doing Korean USMC version.

My educated gues would be, Yes, they probably had plenty of WWII-era K-Rations in Korea.
Here's an interesting site on K-Rations, with lots of other interesting stuff linked. http://www.usarmymodels.com/ARTICLES/Rations/krations.html
My other ration site appears to be down or gone.

Hollowpoint,
Thanks for the info. I will use both the K rat crates and Hudson and Allen C rat boxes on the M26. I'll post photos soon.
