Zvezda (surprisingly) has a very nice set of Russian naval infantry. Zvezda may be hit-or-miss, but some of their recent figure sets are quite good (early Germans in winter combat - a bit of putty work and replacement Dragon Gen2 gear and they actually look better than Dragon figs, good facial sculpting and realistic clothing creases).

Indeed, Zvezda did a huge improvement with their figure sets when they started to use 3-D prototyping. It is also fair about their recent German paratroopers and modern Russian spetsnaz/VDV figures. However, the blog linked above is about SCULPTING figures using Apoxie Sculpt.

Didn't mean to highjack the thread. I just thought I would mention the Zvezda figs, and then I went on and on and on....
