Hey Olivier,
this is interesting because i want to start building my Meng AMX-30B soon.
I've read that the plastic is relatively hard and brittle which requires more attention releasing small parts from the sprues and makes it a bit tricky to clean them. Can you confirm it?
Bernd

Hi Ciro;
Sad too say, NO ! There is no after-market barrel.
When i built my T-72Auf-1 i looked for one also, if your careful and with Lite sanding the kit barrel should be fine.

Salut Olivier,
i got today my Meng AUF-1 kit. I wonder if the model could be used OOTB as a Mount Igman gun or are there any modification neccesary? I also wonder if the new released figures for the AMX-30 could also be used with the AUF-1.
TIA
Hans-Hermann

Hi,
after checking my reference, I found out that I will need a end-connector track for the Igman version. FRIUL DO YOU LISTEN?!

Unfortunately the Hobby Boss set doesn't include the newer sprockets so Hermann you'll have to scratch them.
If you're patient enough, Hobby Boss is to release a complete kit which appears to be correct for what you intend to build.
Picture from HB facebook page.
You will have to remove one of the antenna mounts as the Igman guns still had only the front one.

Does anyone know if the HB kit will have an interior? I was wanting to get the Meng one, but may wait for the HB one instead.
