Academy has released the first plastic kit ever of the latest Swedish IFV, the CV9040B. It depicts the intermediate version as currently in service with the Swedish army, and reviewed here by Olivier Carneau

Early release of this kit had a nasty sink mark in the engine cover - shallow, but noticeable and hard to remove because of the non slip areas. How was your kit, Olivier? I don't see the sink mark on the photos - maybe Academy adjusted their tools?

Hopefully that is the case. Mine is still in the box but it's a shame an otherwise good-looking kit should be marred in this way.

Hello Pawel,
mine has the sink mark but it is not that visible so I didn't notice it till you mention it. I'll have to fix this before the painting. As you state it, it won't easy to do so without damaging the nearby antislip strip.
