-Use this thread to make any comments and questions regarding the Group Build.

-Use either the rivet review or armor forums to post your in-progress shots.

-Rules: The goal of the Sherman Variants Group Build is to build as many different variants of the Sherman that has ever been fielded. That basically means that we would strive, as a group, to buid as many different Shermans as it is possible. That does not mean that we can't have repeates, but we would try to keep repetition to a minimum. For instance, if someone were to build a M4A3 75mm someone else would build a M4A3 75mm in winter finish or a USMC variant (i.e. different markings, foreign users, different paint schemes).

The scale is 1/35. You can build you Shermans out-of-the-box, superdetailed, with aftermarket conversions or kitbashes to build a variant not offered by manufacturers.

There is no timeline for this. Just pick a variant, work on it and keep us updated through the Armorama forums. Once you are done with one variant if you wish to start another one just let me know and I will add another entry.

-Check out the website I set up for this Group Build for further details: Shermans Galore There you will be given the directions on how to join the GB. Basically all you have to do is send me an e-mail, or private message. On it give me your Armorama username, Sherman variant you are building and a link to whatever gallery you use to post your pictures.

I am hoping to make this GroupBuild as organized and un-ambiguous as possible and yet fun for everyone. If you have any comments or concerns use this thread and sound-off.

Cheers,

OK here is the link to my contributiion. Its a T6 built as the line drawing suggests in Hunnicutt's book. I realize ithe original never had the MG cupola added and the markings are a big stretch, but hey its the Grandpappy of all Shermans.
