Can anyone tell me what type of Land Rover NP 8901, the Falklands Royal Marine garrison, had at the time of the Argentine invasion in 1982? I have seen glimpses of it in pictures taken at Government House after the Marines surrendered but not enough to tell what type it was. I believe there was at least one Bedford 4-ton GS truck there as well. I have seen films taken of the garrison that might have been pre-1982 that look like the Land Rover was a 109" Series II or III window hard-top, but cannot be sure. Any info on the vehicles used would be appreciated.
