This is a 1/35 Diorama of a wounded German soldier shouting his defiance as a Russian T34 runbles past.

Nice diorama, just one comment, the T-34 has its driver vision blocks closed. If it is meant to be moving through city, they would be up.

Gerry, love the concept, hopelessness as all is lost, empty MP44 and his mates are all dead....
Something I picked up years ago in relation to wounds on figures (and I know some modellers hate lots of blood...I personally dont mind it, as long as it is fitting to the type of weapon used/ shot placement), is the technique of either a hot pin, drilled hole into the clothing thus giving some depth into the cavity.....
Great work mate.

Great action scene!
When I saw the title of this thread, I half expected to see an alien biker gang rolling through a post-apocalyptic St. Louis.

Wow man,
Haven't seen anything from you in a while and now this! I have to say this is way way better than anything that you've done in the past. You really are improving a lot(not that you were bad to begin with) and it's nice to watch.
Do I see a scene from Syria in the background?

good diorama, lot's of small details, finding "troubles" wouldn't be nice, there are some, but the dio comes together very well, only modelling nerds would complain

nice, one fig makes the dio, not easy!!

Gerry I really like the idea and execution of the diorama, I do have a couple of observations though. It looks as if the living German has no legs and blood is not usually bright red, and it also quickly turns almost black in colour or at least a very dark red.

Darren

Thanks for looking and the positive comments.

The live one has a leg showing which the photographs does not really show that well his other leg is under his great coat.

I agree about the blood and will darken it.

Cheers

Jerry

Thanks for looking and the positive comments.

You are perfectly correct the scene is from Syria as I found it quite difficult to find coloured WW2 material.
