Ok I'm at it again, I'm working on my 2nd scratch build of the M1 Assault Breacher Vehicle. I noticed when I showed one of my progress photos that the I had put the two front ERA boxies on wrong. After making some molds I word for some time removing the box assembly and I went on to added more detail to them an put them in there right spots.
First here's the first photos from when I started.

I had the fix the rear of the turret!

Ok with that show now here's a photo showing the two front ERA boxies on wrong and then my mold and cast of parts. An I'm shocked that no one said any thing.

An as it sits right now.

An I also rough up the tracks, I'll show photos of the now painted tracks later.

I think I said it clearly,,,

"""I guess my hopes were to get a kit of the quality of Caveman's build"""

https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/206195&page=1

In general....

There is a desirous 'want' that many of us have...
ie...."How Many In Your Stash?"

And there are some with talent and perseverance to give/share with us that desire.....

Keep building all of you'z!

This Is Our community. And I deeply apreciate all the diverse builds! OOB and Scratch...

I would have more to say ,,,but my fingers are stuck together,,,,

Thank's "bison126, henkp, AngryDog and The_musings_of_NBNoG" folks I love scratchbuilding and this one is for a customer in CA. An when it comes to fit issus with your resin kits, it comes from pulling the parts to soon from there molds. When those compay are out to make money fast they have there works pull the parts way to fast from there molds which makes the parts worp out of shape. An some of it's because when the master was made, It's of a size smaller that it should be.

Some company will fix that issue and some will not. That's the rest you take when you buy and full resin kit. I will not buy any ABV kit as I scratch built one before this one and I'm making molds so I can build even faster in the future.

As of now I just can't wait to start work on the Mine Plough. More photos coming real soon!

Sorry every one that I have not posted any new work but here's what I have so far. Oh and thanks again for viewing and your comments.

I know I'm missing and eye, I'll fix it later.

One of the storage box's is to long and I will fix later before chassis paint work starts...

An before I see any one pointing out that the supports for that front ERA plate should only be two look at these photos, look at the photos.

An I did notice that there looks to be some armor added to the hatch cover of the M1's drivers hatch. Is this right???

Well now I know what those small boxes are for, there for storing extra smoke grenades. I got that info from the assault breacher crew member "Driver".

Cool "darreng" Well I finally got the detail added to the smoke grenade storage box's.

Now I have a photo showing something that looks like a large thermal camera on the 50 cal. So I'm not going to add it till I find the photo to back up the idea.

Sure you can't be a human but your models are so nice to look at that I won't call the MIB until this ABV is complete

I'm getting ready to start project myself, I was wondering if the figures that your adding are ones that you purchased (if so where from) or if you created/modified them... I need a driver and gunner... not sure I'm skilled enough to create them.

It looks great so far!!

The figures came in my DML Cyber Hobbies M1A1 kit. The Thermal scope what I have now come to under stand is really a large night vision scope. It need's to be rebuild an the middle section is way to big. As the focal lens has been sand and it looks grate but the middle sections needed to be much smaller and have way more detail!

Hay "Fat-Mike" are you in the States, an if so what state do you live in as I have a driver and commander I can send you. All the body parts are still on there parts tree, if you need a photo let me know... Now if you want me to build them I would strongly advise against that!
As I had to cut the rear of my driver to make him fit. Any way let me know...
