Looking at the patch on the should it looks like a 2 ID patch from Korea possibly late 70 up 83 when the uniforms started changing

Okay, I feel like an idiot asking this because I actually crewed one of these prior to moving into M901s, but can anyone tell me what the tall mast forward of the CAP is in Delta-42's pics? We never had it on my track.
I agree with M-75's comments, those of us in the CSC (Combat Surprise Company) figured we were toast after we fired the first round. If I recall correctly, the max flight time was around 15 seconds so you had to sit still and track the entire time hoping no Ivan managed to light you up as you did so.
The hobby fan CM-25 conversion looks pretty good. The only build tip I would add is that the long flat spring was always pretty polished/lubed and shiny. Also, I would swear our firing platform was textured with the standard non-skid pattern.
