I have been an avid user of Future, for quite some time. However, I have noticed that it does not give a smooth glossy coat. It sprays more of a semigloss or satin. Do I need to do something different? I am considering using lacquer gloss clear, as I have had only good results working with that medium. Would this be advisable? I can deal with long dry time.

Have you tried buffing it? I usually only model civilian vehicles and use a prepared gloss coat (Model Masters), but I also enhance the gloss coat by sanding with wet/dry grits (1500 - 3000) But I don't have any experience with Future, sorry.
