so little references /photos and so forth on this thing. So I expect a few call outs. All i could do was fit the duke ied and the fat tires to bring it up to Afghan deployment?

skinny tires just for comparison

the antenna are just loose fit at moment so thats why they are not plumb

Hi Mark

Maybe it's a bit too late, but here are some pics of the LAV-R tested by the Australian Army. They may help with a few details :

Keep on the good work

It's looking great! I happen to be working on one myself right now (very, very slowly). How did you get the black tubing on the crane to look so nice? I tried removing the wire from inside the tubing as per the instructions but the tubing then wouldn't lie realistically. Did you leave the wire inside the tubing?

Hi Lucas - thanks ! I think its a fluke ! First thing i used styrene rod on crane arm. But the tubing i think i did this -
drilled holes
stripped insulation from 1 mm of the cable and inserted into the holes
used super glue and fixer
When i put in some of the cable I dont think i used the kit supplied stuff as i lost it ! So i used some very flexible wire, hope this helps - look forward to see your build !
