Well guys, sorry about the delay but I finally got 'em going. The new M577A1 conversion for the Academy M113A1 and -A2 kits is now available. I'll have the Tamiya set ready tomorrow. It is also now available on Ebay for those that prefer the conveniences:

Now to finish the Shelter for it and get the M1059's rolling!

Just made an update to the photos in the Ebay listings, this way you'll get a better idea of what you ordered.

Thank you Mark!
I've had a few emails today about the possibility of an "Exterior Only" conversion for the M577A1. Well, it's now available on Ebay and has the parts to fit both Academy and Tamiya base kits.

Excellent stuff! Will have to order one (or a few!).
What's the best source to get the comms gear/junction boxes etc to put in it?

Bob I also purchased one. Any chance of you doing an interior for a patton tank?

I gather the only difference between the Academy and Tamiya conversions are the interior parts?
Cheers,
Christophe

You might try a combination of the Academy kit Radio and the Verlinden Modern radios set. I have a lot of information on Nam period US Commo gear, it's just that I haven't gotten that far along yet. Trying to get the big stuff out of the way first.

It's only a matter of swapping out one interior wall where the engine access goes and the roof piece over the Driver. From test-fitting I've found that everything else goes together well.

Again, thank you everyone for ordering these!
I'll really have to give the Patton series interiors some thought. Of course there is still a lot to do with these and you'll be seeing that stuff down the road. I've been wanting to do an M47E2 for a few years. Might just tackle that one, too!
Now to give my M706 references a good look this weekend!

Very nice--any thought of doing an M1068 conversion? I'd buy one in a New York minute!

Already have the basics done, I'll only be doing an exterior conversion on this one. But for now, too much parked in front of it.
