Whose military uses the Toyota Hilux II SCV?

Hi,
I've managed to pick up the MMK 1/35th resin kit of a Toyota Hilux II Special Combat Vehicle (SCV) & was wondering who uses them.

I've seen a few photos but cant tell which country the forces come from, whether US, Brit, etc, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Czechs seem to be the only force that mounts one or two (even three) 14.5mm DSHKs on a Toyota, meaning no other Toyota Technical has such "machine gun firepower" in that class (below 23mm cannons).

First and third pics:12,7mm DSHKM HMG
7.62mm Zb 59 mg
Second pic:AGS 30 30mm AGL
7.62mm Zb 59 mg

Tatra 815 SOT:12.7mm DSHKM hmg and AGS 30 and Zb 59.

Do the US or UK use this vehicle at all but obviously with different weapons configurations?
I know the US special forces have used the type of Toyota which has been reproduced by Meng but what about this "upgraded" version SCV?

Apparently, the US SOFs prefer the Toyota "Tacoma" and Ford F150-350s which hasn't been produced by MENG (yet). The famous photo of the red US SOF Toyota is actually a "Tacoma," not a "HiLux." Tacomas are larger than "HiLuxes." The article states that US SOFs used "HiLuxes" at the start of OEF.

I'm not sure at all that Meng Models pickups are versions used by US soldiers.

Blackdog has released a conversion to make US special forces vehicle with the Meng Models kit, but I believe it's a mistake.


I'm agree, the czech pickup is very nice with camouflage netting. The resin kit seems difficult to build.

The NZ SAS and rf forces use the hilux both on deployment and on bases all around nz
