Hi ..!!

Again I come to ask your help.

I'm starting a Merkava Mk. I (Tamiya), will add to the kit:

- Eduard PEs;
- Gun barrel Accurate Armour;
- Tracks Friulmodels;

As in all Tamiya kits, the first step is to close the openings of the lower hull and complete the inside of the fenders…

Next step was to prepare the upper hull, to receive the Eduard's PE…

The problem is that I could not much information on the openings where I will put the grids (interior details).

Thank you for your attention.

Hi Sergio,
take a look on this site.
http://www.idf-modelling.com/forum/
You will find there a lot information, fotos and work in progress stuff on every IDF tank.
Hope that helps you.
The Merkava on the pictures of the walk around is not a standard Mk I, it is a prototype. There are many diffrences.

Cheers Christoph

I don't like to use models as references, but at the moment this is all I have as I am not at home. I had a photo of the real grill and copied it. The PE is not Eduard - the model was from way before then. However, the railroad mesh I found was almost perfect. There is just one metal support that runs the lenght of the bend in the mesh, like this:
