This is a very interesting, and well sculpted, set of figs from a company not really well-known for their figures. Too bad they didn't include more hydrants - I like the Old-World styling; very authentic. Also too bad ICM didn't include decals for the firemen's insignia. There's a new project for Mr. Archer!

Peddinghaus already beat them to it-decal set number 35 2611. One question-the instructions say to paint the trousers black rather than the blue of the tunic. I assume this is correct?

Well, this is pretty cool seeing as I picked up one of their Typ 2.5 Light Fire Truck kits (#35403) back in September.

Hi Tom,
I did a Googlesearch for Feuerschutzpolizei and came up with this:
https://www.google.de/search?q=feuerschutzpolizei&biw=1440&bih=761&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&sqi=2&ved=0ahUKEwigsq75tarRAhXK0RoKHZltAAkQsAQIJQ
Hope this helps?

It's so nice to see these newer companies releasing such "outside the box" thinking figure sets.
You may need to do some work on the faces to make them look either pretty old or pretty young though. The military age men were all serving elsewhere.

Thanks. Black pants are correct. The Osprey book got that wrong.

Actually the figures seems to have the "old" 1938 uniforms, so they should be usable in a prewar scenario (such as Kristallnacht).
