Hi everyone,
I have an old previously built Dragon M1A1 AIM that I am repainting to bring up to my "new" standard. However the .50cal M2HB and M240 crew weapons are probably beyond salvage.
The question is what options do I have to get these replaced? I cannot seem to find any available replacements.
Any help will be welcomed.
Jon

Hey Jon ,, well this is problem i know rather well .. one thing you can look into is building your ma duce and the 240 ,, well its a mag58 on the M1 but thats just being pedantic on my part .
AFV Club do a pretty nice .50 cal set now but i am rather picky on these things so what i like to do is use the Academy machine gun set and use a RB Models .50 cal barrel ( utterly wicked bit of kit ) ,,used many of those and they always turn out great ,,thats one option or just use the AFV club set right from the get go ,,its still pretty nice set and you could build a nice looking 50 from that alone .
I had to rebuild a 240 for one of my M1's awhile ago and this is how i went about it ,, first i removed the grips from the old one and threw the rest out..i used the L7 from a Dragon Israeli Paratroopers set and modified it from there.,,didnt take much work and the results where more than pleasing .
Hope this will help ya out some .
Cheers

Jon,
Shoot me off a PM with your details, and I will send you the weapons from the AIM kit.
Cheers Jason

Did you try Live-Resin? They make some of the best 1/35 guns in the modern model market today.

Thanks Jason, will do!
Hi Peter,
I had a look at the Live Resin options, but nothing is an exact fit.
Cheers
