This is the Tamiya infantry fig on the march, wherever you want him to be,the choice is yours.
I can see this laddie in the opening times of Barbarossa before the nightmare it became in later years, the only changes i have made to the fig are, stick grenade in boot, changed the sling on machine gun,the original is a pig, added grenade to trench spade, put foliage strap round helmet, shaved all insignia detail off arms and collar, and redone the hair. This fig is not a commision, but just for me,i would like any and all input about uniform and personel details that might go with this young lad, bear in mind that he has done his bit in Poland, and France, and now he is embarking on the ultimate nightmare,Russia,he is Wermacht not SS
and i would like if possible to make a member of any Inf regiment that participated in Barbarossa, looking forward to your participation and input.

Arthur, keep in mind that he is carrying a mg-42. So his timeline will be 1942 and on.

The weight of the Mg-42 is not reflected in the tautness of the carrying strap which looks slack.
Also the stick grenade in the boot. From the angle it's coming out the stick would appear to have to go through his leg.

Taken your comments on board Teacher,if you were to see the grenade from the front,it is partly hidden by the folds in the trousers.
