As Jeff has decided not to progress with his ‘Copters 'N Choppers Campaign’ I am proposing a similar campaign; but I am putting a crossover element into it. The crossover element would be that Army helicopters can be built on the Armorama site and/or the Aeroscale site, Air Force and civilian helicopters must be built on the Aeroscale site as that is very much the right place for them. The rules that I propose are;
1. Any helicopter model by any manufacturer
2. Scale would be 1/72nd scale to 1/24th scale
3. Helicopters from any period are acceptable including what if machines
4. The campaign could also be used to build Aircraft such as the Osprey.
5. I propose a start date of 1st January 2014 to 1st of July 2014
6. You must post your progress in the campaign thread; no just posting a finished picture.
7. In order to get a campaign ribbon you must upload an image of your finished build to the campaign gallery.

While this is a crossover campaign I would advise that Armorama members make a point of also posting their progress in the Aeroscale campaign thread, this I feel is a good idea as the Aeroscale members are more attuned to the skills and knowledge of building these types of model and you could acquire more skills.

And the Little Bird is pulled off the shelf again.

I'm not sure what I'll build it as though. How much artistic license are we being given? Would border patrol, DEA, CIA, or Homeland Security be Armorama or Aeroscale?

Alex I believe that all of those fall under civilian organizations with the possible exception of the CIA. I am going to build a 1/35th scale Cobra and it will be on Aeroscale as I need the pointers.

No problem. I'm trying to come up with a non-all-black camo scheme for it. Unfortunately there aren't that many. Probably will just stick with the Army/Spec Forces version.

Kind of surprised the interest in this one has fallen off.

Thanks Sean. That's a OH-6A. The kit is a AH-6J. Dragon has a kit of the OH-6A as well. Anyway, I think I'm going to bow out of this one. My slate is full as it is.
