I read all the comparisons of M1 kits….but seeing that I couldn’t find a Dragon Kit for sale...
I bought the following hoping to bash a sweet finished product:
Tam35158 M1 with plow;
Tam35326 M1 with TUSK,
Tru01535 M1 5in1,
DM35018 ABV,
Plus assorted PE sets.
and RBModel 35ME01 Suspension.
I tried to start with the Suspension alterations for the RBModel, …and saw that NEITHER Tamiya Nor Trumpeter have The track tension bar that connects to the idler wheel arm with the 1st road wheel arm….. what the Heck!
Does anyone have clear photos that might help me with this?....
(I have never scratch built before Other than Balsa..in 1968) and a photo of both sides of the pieces and the connector would help…(the only 3 pics of the tension bar on PrimePortal mainly show off M1 damaged
Thanks in advance!
~C
BTW ...does anyone know why the Box size of the Reactive armor on the A2 SEP T2....,.is a differing size than the reactive armor on the ABV
just wondering why there would be a difference.

Did you try HobbyEasy ?
Pretty sure the RB suspension set is ONLY for the newer Dragon kits as they have separate suspension arms while the others are molded on.

Here's some more images from http://primeportal.net and www.inetres.com:
And here is an image of the assembled DML M1A1 AIM Idler Tensioner Arm and Front Road Wheel Arm (from www.PlanetArmor.com):
Please be advised that the "shock absorber" looking link is shorter on one side than on the other due to the configuration of the suspension. I've got a copy of the Technical Manual drawing of these parts somewhere...
