Howdy,
Found a wee boo-boo in the kit, the new glacis armour D11 provided for this version is, well, slightly buggered.
New part on left, older on right.
And in place
Compared with older part
A slight gap, no? Fortunately it's a relatively easy fix. I used a strip of 20 thou on the inside face, flush with the top, check the sit and sand/scrape as needed to get it nice and level, attach to kit and add a 10 x 60 strip on top and presto! A little selective filling or trimming may be needed.

This is typical of all of Dragon's and Cyber Hobby's kits. Normally, the rear portion of the hull doesn't line up.

It's not a case of not lining up, there's a chunk missing completely. The original nose piece fits properly and has the extension, looks like they just plain goofed. I've noticed there are some other fit issues, nothing that can't be fixed with a bit of dry fitting and sanding. The trick is to figure out where the problem is, sometimes it's not immediately obvious.
