Duster gun barrels

I have the pre 2000 Tamiya Duster and was wondering if anyone made replacement gun barrels, mine have bent and twisted on the duster i have made and the second Dusters, the barrels have gone the same way, also these barrels seem to me to be thick and chunky, perhaps the limits of molding pre 2000. Any help much appreciated
