I'm wanting to depict one of the gates leading into the Citadel and a short length of wall. Any suggestions on how to do the Asian architecture like the Buddha carvings.I plan on using plaster of paris. I built some walls for a Hue dio few years back, but they were sorta plain. This may be to much to try and do. It sure would look cool.

I would go about this with cork over a posterboard or cardboard frame. I made something similar a few years ago using this method

This way should be pretty simple .. if you want to go more ornate, maybe check in some junk shops for some suitable budha type pieces and incorporate them in the wall?
